Salih Yanıkgönül PhD Student (EEE & A*STAR-DSI, co-supervised by Dr L. Krivitsky) Batch 2016 Interest : Single Photon Detection, Quantum Optics

Salih Yanikgonul received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey in July 2014. He worked with Vodafone Turkey as an associate manager for 2 years at innovation and intrapreneurship division for 2 years. He joined Nanyang Technological University in August 2016 as an A*STAR SINGA PhD student. He is also a member of Advanced Concepts and Nanotechnology (ACN) group of Data Storage Institute (DSI) and co-supervised by Dr Leonid Krivitsky. His research topic is on engineering of on-chip single photon sensitive photo-detectors for quantum enabled technologies. His current effort is on electro-optical characterization setup for avalanche photodiodes (APD).
