Tim Meiler is a Ph.D. student at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), jointly affiliated with the Advanced Optical Technologies (AOT) department at A*STAR’s Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) in Singapore. His research focuses on perovskites as a novel material platform for active nanophotonics, with the goal of tuning emission wavelength and directionality in next-generation optoelectronic devices. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Stuttgart in 2021. His broader interests include nanophotonics, metasurfaces, microheaters, and optical skyrmions.
