Giorgio Adamo

Giorgio Adamo’s research focuses on advanced nanophotonics and microscopy. He earned his Laurea from the Polytechnic University of Milan and his MSc from the KTH, Royal Institute of Technology both in 2005, and his PhD degree from the Optoelectronic Research Centre (ORC) at the University of Southampton in 2011. Following his doctorate, he was awarded the EPSRC Doctoral Prize to further his PhD studies as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2012, he joined the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and was appointed Research Manager of the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT). At NTU, his research focuses on light-matter interaction in advanced nano-optoelectronic systems and its visualization at deep subwavelength scale. He is a Senior Member of Optica (former OSA).
