Central Facilities

Central Facilities have several Characterization Facilities, CryoFace, Liquid Nitrogen Central Facility, Electronic and Mechanical Workshops, which provide manufacturing and technical support for research groups and teaching laboratories across the Physics and Applied Physic Department in SPMS. These services are also extended to other University departments, depending on the need and scope of their requirements. Please contact us and we can do the necessary arrangement. All of the facilities and workshops are located on the Ground floor of PAP-SPMS building.

Characterization Facilities and CryoFace

The Characterization Facilities include various analytical instruments for surface and structure analysis including Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), Powder X-ray Diffractometer (XRD), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy and Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS and UPS).
