Lew Kar Cheng (Chloe)
NTU-Southampton Joint PhD student
(co-supervised by Dr Kevin MacDonald)
Batch 2016

Interest : Cathodoluminescence spectroscopy.

Chloe joined the Optical Spectroscopy group in 2015 for her undergraduate Final Year Project (FYP, academic year 2015-2016). She obtained her bachelor degree in Applied Physics from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in July 2016. She is currently enrolled in a joint PhD Programme between NTU and the University of Southampton. Her research work focuses on light emission and detection from organic/inorganic semiconductors, especially using cathodoluminescence (CL) spectroscopy to study their photovoltaic and optoelectronic properties.

She is also affiliated with the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies.
