    Femtosecond studies of energy transfer processes (new SERC grant): ultrafast time-resolved phenomena of excitons in semiconducting nanoparticles and organic light emitting molecules, where non-radiative e-h recombination compete with luminescent decay to reduce quantum efficiency of materials
